Our real jungle/beach adventure is not for the faint of heart but if you crave adventure, you will experience a part of the tropical world rarely seen by outsiders. We are reaching out only to those trailblazers that seek to avoid the mundane at all costs. We’re looking for you! Yes, you with the restless soul and the adventurous heart.
 
We will take you to an unspoiled jungle paradise located halfway up the western part of Burica Peninsula in southern Costa Rica. Our eco/adventure camp Eco Burica is accessible only by horseback or boat. This means the old growth tropical forest has remained relatively untouched by man for centuries.

Eco Burica has partnered with our neighbors, the Guaymi indigenous peoples of Pta Burica, to enhance their standard of living while introducing this part of Costa Rica to the world. The trees you will see are simply mind boggling in their majesty! If you are ready for a real life adventure that goes far beyond any hokey reality TV show, then you must visit us!
Hike through our 450 acres of jungle on well-marked trails or take a guide and really go for it!

Swim in a freshwater lagoon or try the Pacific Ocean. We’ll show you where you can safely swim, protected by a large offshore reef.
From your private beach cabin, watch the sunset into the ocean while white-faced capuchin, squirrel and howler monkeys cavort in the trees. Get a good night’s sleep on our twin or double size beds and awake to a symphony of bird sounds!

Take a horseback ride up the river and marvel at the verdant jungle around you. Along the way you will view chattering monkeys, indolent sloths, brightly colored parrots and the magnificent toucan.
See the fabled Blue Morph butterfly flitting before your eyes!
Try your luck at surf casting for a variety of saltwater fish. (Bring your own gear)

Take a refreshing fresh water shower. Showers and washrooms are conveniently located near each cabin.
 
Refreshing drinks (alcoholic and non) are always available in our palm roofed dining hall. Or if you prefer the privacy of your cabin, our staff will ensure your glass never runs dry! We offer fresh fruits and meals typical of Costa Rica. Of course beverages and food are included in your package! You can make your stay as relaxing or challenging as you choose. Spend your time reading a book in the comfort of your hammock, or go exploring in our virgin forest. Your choice!

We provide bed linen, towels, and a stunning environment! From Golfito we’ll bring you directly by boat to Eco Burica, our eco/adventure camp. On the trip down the coast you will see dolphins cavorting around the boat, and jungle cliffs that are spellbinding!
