About Us

Ecoburica was founded by Hilary Amolins, a Canadian who along with his Tico partner Francisco Sanchez (as well as several silent partners) are working with the Costa Rican government to preserve this unique region and encourage tourism to the area. We aim to ensure that future generations will always be able to enjoy virgin Costa Rica. Sustainability, respect for the environment and jobs for the community are key components driving us forward.
